he is very charismatic
I’ll start by apologizing, this is a fan tumblr, and I have to admit I love the comics, I’ve been reading it for years, since I bought by mistake the Days Gone Buy compilation (issues 1-6). I’ve read it so many times, wrote a Masters Degree Project using the Walking Dead Comics (I’ve never completed it though). I’m a fair critic and I know how to separate midias, like Comics and Movies and TV Shows. The Walking Dead started with one of the best Pilots I’ve ever seen. Great, filled with silence and depth. Season One got kind of lost towards the end, but had an overall great momentum. Season Two was completely lost for a while, that whole Sophia thing took it’s time, but it got pretty good in the end. Season 3 Part Due comeback was, in my opinion, remember that, THE WORST EPISODE of the series, and they had some pretty bad ones in their run. I can’t tell how frustrated and sad I am by writing this, but it’s the truth. From Daryl’s and Merle’s stupid little fight that got nowhere, from Michonne’s one face acting ¬¬ , right to Andrea’s Michael Bay speech for Woodsbury, Glenn little hissy fight with Rick (like he could control Daryl).
Things are lost, characters are lost…. and I think I know the problem. They are not taking their time. Let us take the Governor as an example. I really liked the actor, and what he did in the first episodes we’ve seen him. If you know the comics you see how different they are, The Governor in the comics is a redneck force of pure bad energy, for a lack of a better word, since I had saying that some one is “evil”. In the series I never saw him as bad, or bad energy, he is what Rick will become, a man that knows what it takes to survive in this world, you lose your sense of moral or ethics. But it all changes when he loses his zombie girl??? To fast, to easy. Right it more. Make it uncomfortable to route against him, that’ll make things interesting. Anyways, sorry if this is not the kind of thing you wanna hear in a FuckYeah blog, but that’s what has been on my mind.
You can grab your “The Walking Dead: Assault” for only 0.99$ at the Itunes Store. I’ve played a few chapters and I’m surprised to say: I loved the game. The controls can get a bit tricky, but the overall experience was the best I had with Walking Dead franchise. I downloaded Tellatale’s Walking Dead for IOs and, I’m here to say that, I experienced a lot of lagging, so I was eventually frustrated.
Later, more posts on yesterdays Season 3 part Due comeback.
